Rony Jabour is an important partner of the Brazilian Worker Center in delivering ongoing safety and health training for Portuguese and Spanish speaking workers in their native language. Rony Jabour was a construction worker for 8 years, became an authorized OSHA safety trainer in 2007, and has dedicated his life to ensuring that workers who are most vulnerable have access to safety training. He has trained more than 30 thousand construction workers in New England in Portuguese and Spanish, working together with Brazilian Worker Center and its OSHA Alliance. He is also founder and proprietor of the training firm United Safety Net in Woburn, Massachusetts. Rony earned two master’s certificates at University of Texas in 2019, in Safety & Health and also in Risk Management. Rony was recognized in 2020 with the Rising Star of Safety Award from the National Safety Council.
