What We Do
Health and Wellness Initiatives
The challenges of immigration, demanding work schedules, and limited access to healthcare often take a toll on physical and mental well-being. Ensuring that immigrant workers have the resources to care for their health is essential for building stronger, more resilient communities.
- Mulheres Vencedoras
A women-led initiative designed to promote mental health and wellness among immigrant workers. This mindfulness-based program raises awareness about chronic health issues, including cancer and anxiety, while creating a supportive space for education, empowerment, and healing. Through workshops, peer support, and wellness activities, participants gain valuable tools to care for their emotional and physical well-being.
- MassHealth Application Assistance
Access to healthcare is a fundamental right, yet many immigrants struggle with navigating health insurance applications. Support is available to guide individuals through the MassHealth enrollment process, ensuring that eligible workers and families receive the coverage they need for medical care, preventive services, and overall well-being.
Prioritizing health means securing a better quality of life, not just for individuals but for entire communities. By providing information, support, and advocacy, these initiatives empower immigrant workers to take charge of their well-being and access the care they deserve.
