What We Do
Leadership Development
At the Brazilian Worker Center, we believe that strong leadership is essential for building empowered communities. Our Leadership Development programs equip immigrant workers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to advocate for their rights, take on leadership roles, and create meaningful change in their workplaces and communities.
- Immigrant Youth Advancement Program (Dreamers)
We support young immigrants in navigating educational and career opportunities while fostering civic engagement. This program helps Dreamers overcome barriers, access higher education, and become active participants in their communities. - ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
Learning English is a crucial step toward empowerment. Our ESOL courses help immigrant workers improve their communication skills, enabling them to access better job opportunities and fully engage in society. - Workforce Development
In today’s digital world, technology skills are essential. Our Computer Literacy program provides training in basic and advanced digital skills, helping workers access resources, improve their employability, and stay connected. - Susan Harwood Training
Workplace safety is a fundamental right. Through the federally funded Susan Harwood Training, we educate workers on occupational safety and health, ensuring they understand their rights and how to prevent workplace injuries.
By developing leaders within the immigrant workforce, we help build a future where all workers have the tools and support they need to succeed and thrive.
