Build a Safer Job Site
The Brazilian Worker Center, in partnership with the City of Boston, is offering a free 30 hour OSHA Construction Training program. The course is available in, Portuguese and Spanish, and supports compliance with the Construction Safety Ordinance. This initiative is designed for individuals who serve or aim to serve as Site Safety Coordinators under the ordinance.
With extensive experience in delivering safety and workforce development programs, the Brazilian Worker Center will lead the training sessions. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills to create and sustain safe and healthy construction job sites. Topics include hazard recognition, worker rights, emergency response, and strategies for promoting a culture of safety and wellness in the workplace.
This opportunity is especially valuable for workers and business owners seeking to meet local safety requirements and improve job site conditions. To enroll in the training, participants must either reside in the City of Boston or hold a permit issued by the City of Boston Inspectional Services Department.
